Forty acres, ten minutes from the ring road.

One site, three buildings and a great deal of grass. Nothing here is new for the sake of it — the main house is Georgian and creaks, the science block is from 2019 and does not.

The main house

Georgian, red brick, tall sash windows. Primary classrooms on two floors, the head's study on the ground floor with the door usually open.

Everyone eats here at the same time, staff included, on long tables mixed across year groups. Food is cooked on site each morning.

The garden and woods

Raised beds, a greenhouse and eleven acres of mature woodland beyond the mown path. Outdoor learning happens here in every season.

Getting here

By car

Ten minutes from the A34. Parking for 60 on site, and a one-way drop-off loop that works.

By minibus

Four routes serve Oxford, Didcot, Wantage and Abingdon town. £690 a term, return.

On foot or by bike

A lit path from the village and covered racks by the hall. Cycling proficiency is taught in Year 5.

Visiting

Tours run Tuesday and Thursday mornings in term time, and one Saturday a month.
