The gates open
Early drop-off runs from 7.45, with breakfast in the hall until 8.20. A member of staff is on the gate every morning, and the same faces are there each day.
Included in fees — no supplement for early drop-off or breakfast.
A child moves through Wrenfield once.
Ages two to fourteen on the same forty acres, so nobody has to start again at seven or eleven. Each stage has its own building, its own rhythm and its own head.

Every child is known by name
Two hundred and ten pupils in total. The head teaches, and knows every name and every family. Nothing about this scales, which is the point.
Rooms are quiet without being silent
Teachers work beside pupils at the desk rather than from the front. Talk is expected — it is talk about the work.
Two afternoons a week outdoors
Woodland, kitchen garden and field, timetabled for every year group, all year round. It happens in the rain too.
I can tell you our class sizes and our ratios, and you should ask. But what you actually want to know is whether your child will be noticed on a wet Wednesday in February. Come and stand in a corridor at half past eleven and you will have your answer.

Registration is a form and a conversation, not an examination. We assess in the child's own classroom wherever we can, and we tell you the same day whether we think Wrenfield is right for them.
