Who we are

Wrenfield School is the data controller for the information described on this page. Our registered address is Marlow Court, Suite 4, Abingdon OX14 3QT. Our data protection lead can be reached at office@wrenfield.school.

This notice covers visitors to this website and prospective families. Information about current pupils and their families is governed by the separate pupil privacy notice issued on joining.

What we collect

If you request a tour or send us a message we collect the name, email address, telephone number and any details you choose to include, together with the tour date you selected.

If you pay a registration fee we collect the billing details needed to process it. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.

Our website collects standard technical information such as pages visited and approximate location, used only in aggregate to understand which pages are useful.

Why we hold it

To reply to you, to arrange and follow up a visit, to process an application, and to meet our legal obligations as a school. We rely on legitimate interests for enquiry handling and on contract where a place has been offered.

We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not send marketing to anybody who has not asked for it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become applications are deleted after twenty-four months. Applications that do not result in a place are kept for three years in case a family reapplies. Records relating to admitted pupils are kept in line with the school retention schedule.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to office@wrenfield.school and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
